All ages welcome! Join us on May 7 at Meldrum Bark Park to kick off our 8th year partnering with SOLVE for the Waterway Cleanup Series. Removal of litter along our waterways serves our mission to protect water quality in Clackamas County by implementing programs that reduce pollution to rivers, streams and wetlands. Last year, 28,278 pounds of trash was removed from waterways and natural areas in Clackamas County.
Meeting Location: Volunteers will take a left turn at Dahl Park Rd when entering Meldrum Bar Park and will meet under the gazebo by the community garden and baseball field.
What to Bring: Closed-toed shoes and weather-appropriate clothing. Feel free to bring your personal tools if available and a reusable water bottle to support our sustainability efforts.
What's Provided: SOLVE will provide all supplies including high visibility vests, trash grabbers, gloves, and trash bags.
Clackamas Water Environment Services is proud to support events like this that help protect water quality.
